MOVIEGRILLE

W A R N I N G : T H I S   P O S T   M A Y   C A U S E   J E A L O U S L Y !
Dinner & a movie. This has seemingly become the date night of choice for Michael and myself.
While Groupon-ing one evening, we stumbled across a deal for a place called M O V I E G R I L L E !

We couldn't believe our eyes! This place promised to take out the "&" in "dinner & a movie!" Basically, Michael and I jumped on the opportunity!

Once we arrived at the theater, we walk in and see that they literally have
L E A T H E R   R E C L I N E R S  waiting for us! I know, I know... Perfection? 100% perfection. Basically, we will not be attending movies anywhere else!

I am so sorry for the freaky eyes!
The flash can force things to get creepy!

Next time, I am bringing my minky blanket and snuggling up real close to my man!

PARTYING WITH SOME GOOD OLD GOSPEL MUSIC!

This semester, Michael is taking a music class, and he has to attend a certain amount of concerts to pass. Lucky for us, he now has a list of concerts going on around the Ogden area.

Tonight, we hit up the 14 t h   A N N U A L   W S U   G O S P E L   M U S I C   F E S T I V A L !
One of the first things stated by the host was to relax, loosen up, and enjoy yourselves!
That was exactly what we did! We were on our feet  T W O   S T E P P I N  our way to heaven!

D I S C L A I M E R : All of the pictures will have terrible quality due to a lack of lighting...

This man right here had absolutely  E V E R Y O N E  on their feet dancing and
 "H A L L E L U J A H -ing!"

Literally... Everyone was on their feet!

The woman third from the right looked identical to Whoopi Goldberg!
We were thriving!

& then Hill Air Force Base came on and things got rough...
They shoulda gone first...
They were great singers but a little boring
compared to the rest of the crowd!

After the show all I wanted to do was come home, ready my scriptures, and say prayers to my Heavenly Father! I am so grateful for Him and for all that he does for us! I have such a testimony that He knows all things. I know He has his hand in everything that happens in my life and I am so grateful for that knowledge! I am so proud to be a member of
T H E   C H U R C H   O F   J E S U S   C H R I S T   O F    L A T T E R   D A Y    S A I N T S !
I know that I can always turn to the Lord and He will never leave me to be alone.

Holy Cow!

What a crazy time in our lives this is! Ever since last Monday, Michael has been working some pretty crazy shifts! He got a job at the bookstore, and is honestly working his little tail off! Poor guy! We don't even know if he will be able to keep the job! He is currently 1  O F  1 7 competing for a permanent position there! One thing is for sure, this kid deserves a job there! His work schedule has consisted of so many 12 hour work shifts, and many many 4:30 mornings!
On top of that, he has just started school this week for the first time in 5 years! Needless to say he has been extremely nervous for this week, but has been handling it like such a champ! Michael Linley is one of a kind! That, my friends, is absolutely for sure! I am so proud of my love! He knows exactly what he has to do to provide for us, and I know he is willing to do whatever it takes no matter what!

At work Mike gets to wear this cute apron!
He hates that I took this picture... Shhh don't tell him I posted it!

Our lives also have consisted of many sleepless nights.
Poor kid just gets so worked up it's hard for him to calm down!
I generally end up tickling him until he finally can rest easy!

As for me, the job hunt is coming along! I have an offer for a nanny position in SLC!
I know it can always be scary looking for a job online, but how else do you find a nanny job?
We are still in the process of figuring out the minor details, but we are crossing our fingers it works out!

New Years Eve 2k13

This year we have spent a lot of our time with RideDubbingFields.
We had our F H E ' S   with them a lot.
We went to D I S N E Y L A N D  with them.
We would hang out with them almost on a daily basis.
Basically we did so much with them!

We are so blessed to have met them! I honestly don't know what we would have done without them! We feel so blessed to be able to call them life long friends!

It only seemed natural that we should spend our New Years Eve
with some of the coolest cats around...

T H E   R I D E D U B B I N G F I E L D S !

We started the evening with the Hubbards on Temple Square where we heard one of the most amazing performances of   B R I N G   H I M   H O M E  from   L E S   M I S E R A B L E S   I think I have ever heard in my entire life!
Next year, if you have nothing to do on New Years, Temple Square has performances all night! They are definitely worth seeing! I think we could have spent all evening there!

Then, we went back to meet up with Ian & Sharesa at the Hubbard home!
After eating and catching up, we spent the majority of our evening playing
J U S T   D A N C E   4 !
Michael even played it with me! Mike hates those kinds of games, but he was such a good sport and played like 4 rounds with me! I know!

M I N D   B L O W N !

Then, we hurried out to the Corner of the Conference center for the count down!

Look how fun we are!

They do fireworks right in the middle of downtown!
We were so surprised!

Yes, this is my first actual New Years kiss!
Last year, Michael kissed me a little early so that he could jump off
T H E   R O C K
into the freezing cold Provo River!
I really appreciated it this year!

I hope 2k14 brings more adventures than 2k13!
I dunno if that is possible, but I most certainly can't wait to find out!

Zoo Lights 2k13

Last year, M & I went to the Zoo Lights and made the decision we would make it a tradition.
This year, we were able to go with the A D O R A B L E   G A R L I C K   F A M I L Y!

After, we went over to the G's home and Mike's pants were driving him insane... So he sported the B B A L L  shorts and  L O N G J O H N S !

M's Hardwork

I can't believe how hardworking Michael is.

He has been working at a job that he hates for the past 2 years, just so he can provide for me.

He woke up at 5:45 everyday, took the train to work,
sat at a desk talking to angry people, then took the train home
arriving at 7:00 each night only to wake up and do
it again the next morning!

He was the best in his department at U H E A A .
He would break his own records almost every month,
and rarely ever complained about it.

This man has now been able to quit his job to start his college education.
Within a 4 days of him quitting, he started his new job at the Bookstore.
This new job requires lots of early mornings!
He will be waking up at 4:30 A M  for the next couple of days,
but he knows it is what he has to do to.

Every time we sit down to snuggle, he falls asleep within a matter of seconds.
I don't mind. This man deserves a nap or   A   M I L L I O N !

Frank normally makes himself comfortable when Mike decides to nap!
He loves his Pops!

Bountiful Temple

Michael and I used to be able to walk out our door, walk around the corner and be almost faced to face with the Salt Lake Temple.
Unfortunately, since we've moved to Ogden, finding time to go to the Temple has been so hard! There is a Temple here, but it is under construction. The closest Temple now is Bountiful which is about a 23-30 minute drive!
(I   K N O W !   H O W   S A D   I   A M   C O M P L A I N I N G !)
Life just moves so quickly that the Temple seems to get lost in it all.

So, last Saturday, Michael and I decided no matter what, we would get to the Temple!

W E   D I D   I T !

After 5 months of not attending the Temple, we finally made it!

The rest of Christmas 2k13

I think this post will be just mostly pictures... Less words, more pictures.
Michael and I have definitely been spoiled this Christmas!

 This requires explanation...
So I saw the picture on the left on Pinterest and thought to myself, man that would make one amazing white elephant gift! So thanks to my A M A Z I N G  Mother, we were able to create it on the rock on the left!

Every Christmas Eve, Grandma Wagner takes us all out to the Chinese Buffet, and then throws a raging Christmas party! It is one of my favorite Holiday traditions!

This year, Frank and Buck helped themselves to Chocolate underneath the Christmas Tree! Christmas Eve was spent holding a very sick puppy hoping he wouldn't throw up all over me!

Christmas Morning

I stumbled across this picture of my dear Husband
while at the Riding house! Look how stinking handsome he was!
I hope our kids look exactly like him!

The day after Christmas we just went to the mall and spent a lot of money...

It was totally worth it though!

More Christmas 2k13 Celebrations

The rest of our Christmas celebrations I am going to lump together...
It is too much to try to sort out!

Every year, the Riding's make gingerbread houses. These are no ordinary gingerbread houses though, they take them seriously. Normally, Brad and Dan are there most of the even literally
C A R V I N G faces or last details into their creations!

This year, Michael and I attempted something no one has ever done before...
I  A M   S U R E   S O M E O N E  H A S . . .  B U T   I T ' S   F I N E . . .

The Emerald City

Basically every year it turns into Michael just telling  me how to create it and him redoing what I do. It is actually a pretty great system! One year I will do it right, but for now this is how it works!

Jayme came into town for the Holidays, so we have been trying to spend as much time with my family as possible.
Jayme had made plans with Michelle to craft, so the Monday before Christmas, we headed down to Payson to craft/A K A   P L A Y   W I T H   B E N J A M I N/ visit with Michelle.

I spent most of my time in the ball pit with this little man.
While we were in there, he decided my new name is Cookie.
I have always wanted a nickname, so I find it absolutely adorable!
This little man sure does know how to make someone feel special, that is for sure!

I mean come on!
Don't you just want to pinch those cheeks!
C H E E S E R !

I will post the rest in another post... Tonight I am too exhausted.
