MEMORIAL DAY 2K14

It's crazy to think about where we were last year this time. Well I guess this exact time we were shoved in the back of a Dodge Journey traveling back from Disneyland! Pretty crazy to think back on your life a year ago! Fortunately, this year definitely didn't disappoint! We headed up to Park City and seriously did so much stuff! Ian and Sharesa found a groupon for the gold pass which meant we could do anything we wanted (minus the bobsled) as many times as we wanted. It was a steal of a deal! So, here is our day in a nut shell!

About to die on the zip-line!

Don't worry... We made it!

Doing the coaster!

The Ropes Course seriously destroyed our hands and arms,
but it was totally worth it! Super difficult, but amazing none the less!

Twerkin it...

We forgot sunscreen... All of us got hit with it. Owie!

Such an amazing way to spend our Memorial day with some of the most amazing people!

#DREAMATHON

Saturday night, I met Michael in Salt Lake and we went to this thing at Granite High School called a Dream A Thon... Apparently, people went in and decorated it all sorts of crazy! It honestly was pretty amazing, and spending it with the Bedingfields made it even better!

Julie is the one who told us about this actually! She put a Kick Me sign on Carson's back and we were all dying! Poor Carson... I don't think he ever even noticed! Hope I don't spoil it!

This was pretty neat! You put your face in a contraption and took a picture with your flash on and it turned all crazy like! Michael's looks amazing!

Michael looked like he was straight out of the 90's, so we obvi had to document it!

There has only been one time before this night that I have seen Michael in uniform and actually seen him be serious about being in the military! I honestly don't think I'll ever forget this evening. A buddy from the Corps got married and they wanted to include a military sword ceremony. Lucky me, they asked Michael to participate!
Basically... I am a S U C K E R  for  T H I S  M A N  in U N I F O R M

But let's be honest... He is still my little baby!

LONGBOARDING 2K14

We have been dying to be able to make our way down the canyon this season, and we finally were able to do it! Since then, we've been able to go multiple times and seriously look for anyway to bum a ride up the canyon!

A couple of weeks ago, Juli and Spencer came to stay with us for a few weeks! It was absolutely so fun to get to spend time with her and my adorable new nephew! Michael on the other hand, spent most of his time snuggling these jealous dogs! They have definitely taken the back burner since the birth of Spencer!

Michael found Ginger stuffed under our bed moping...

Frank shoved himself anywhere that he would be able to get attention...
Including my sweatshirt sleeve!

And they spent all day snuggling him....

Bitter Sweet Goodbyes

Our dear, sweet, amazing, wonderful, splendid, outgoing bosom buddies have officially fled the coop back to their hometown of Susanville California! As sad as we are to see them go, we are so excited that they are able to make it back! We sure do love these kids and look up to them in so many ways! We hope the best for them, but don't stay away for too long!

Happy days are here again! Finally, our dear friend & cousin sealed the deal and married each other! Basically, here is our day at the wedding in pictures! I know that these pictures wont do this beautiful day justice, but I can only attempt!

First time in a long time these handsome young men have been together!
So fun to be able to play with them!

Okay I'll have to admit this is from the day before the wedding at the Bridal Shower! This is Amy, Allison's best friend! Basically, we're best friends....

And that's my story!

SURPRISE

Holy Michael Linley! Michael left last Saturday for Drill with the Marine Corps! I was so sad that he would be gone for so long and as my week trudged along... I began to get more and more depressed. He would call me in the evenings but other than that, I spent my time working and reading the Divergent series. Basically, that was my life...  U N T I L ,  I come home from work on Wednesday and I find a note on the bed stating that Michael was home from drill early and had a romantic night all planned out! I died! All I could do is jump and down and scream I was so excited! I grabbed my purse and ran out the door just to meet my favorite! I still am in shock at how thoughtful my husband is! How did I get so lucky?

Disneyland 2k14

I think that if I were to think of one phrase to describe our most recent trip to Disneyland it would have to be... NAILED IT. Not only was this said probably over a million times this trip, but it literally is the perfect description of Disney 2k14. Let me start from the beginning... If you feel the need to just skip the nonsense words and look strictly at the pictures now would be the time to skip ahead, but otherwise let me begin...
05/04/2014
We started out the trip Sunday morning getting picked up by my cousin, Allison, from my parents house, then we were dropped off by my other cousin, Liz, at the Provo Airport. Deal Alert: If ever needing to fly to California, first check Allegiant Air! We got a steal of a deal flying out of there! Seriously. We will never make the 10 hour drive to California  E V E R  A G A I N !

Anyway, after a quick flight to LAX airport, we rented a car from the airport and headed down to Hunnington Beach for the day! We met up with one of Allison's friends for lunch and then spent the day lounging around at the beach! It's a tough life, I know!

After a couple of hours spent at Hunnington, we decided to make the drive up the the Los Angeles Temple and spent some time hanging out on the grounds! My brother and his wife were sealed in this Temple, so it was so fun to be able to go back and spend some time there!

Then, it was back to the airport to return the car and catch the shuttle to our hotel. Deal Alert: If ever looking for a hotel, check Groupon! Seriously, we were able to stay in a fancy hotel for cheaper than we would have for a Motel 8, I swear it! It turned out to be like $52 a night!
B L E S S I N G S !  I'm not going to lie, we were a little nervous that the Groupon wouldn't work out, but they didn't even question us. We were checked right in and sent up to the executive level to settle in!
Since Allison & Jordan aren't married yet, I shared a room with Allison while Michael & Jordan shared. Poor Allison probably got so sick of me snuggling up next to her! I couldn't help it! I'm used to having Michael next to me!
05/05/2014
On Day 2 of this extravaganza, we decided to sleep in a little bit before catching the shuttle from our Hotel to Disneyland! Allison had asked me to do her hair for her Birdals, so it was pretty fun for us to get up and practice curling her hair on this trip! Not to toot my own horn or anything but it looked  A M A Z I N G !  I was pretty proud of myself! We spent this day wandering around both parks attempting to fit in every bit of happiness that Disney has to offer! This was Jordan's first time going to Disneyland, so we had to make sure he got a taste of everything!

Our first ride of the trip was Space Mountain. We waited in line for an hour, mad it all the way through the ride and then at the last corner, the ride got shut down. It was our first time being on a ride while it shut down! Definitely a cool experience! Most would be upset, but we  L O V E D  it!

This right here is genuine excitement to meet Mickey! This may have been the highlight of our entire trip! I think it made Mickey pretty happy too...

If you have not visited the Animation Building in California Adventure, it's a must! We got to make our own animations, although only Michael's actually worked... Then we went to another room and got to hear which Disney character we are most like! We did both genders and Michael got Jessie for a girl and I got Woody! How crazy is that!?

05/06/2014
Same as above basically... Lots of Joy! Add on the Rain Forest Cafe for lunch.

We started out in Cars Land on this tire ride. We have never done it before, and it was pretty fun! Allison & I thought it was funny I caught these 2 taking a selfie!

This picture will speak for itself. All I'm gonna say is it's on California Screamin!

The picture on the left is just perfect. He is my Happily Ever After!
The picture on the right I took just because I couldn't get over how stinking handsome this man is! I am so blessed to have this super attractive man as my husband!

This is us working it at the parade! Basically, every character in the parade loved us... Not to mention the kids around us loved that we made all the characters look at us! I can't help that I whoop and holler when I see my favorites!

05/07/2014
Same as above but we ate at a Cafe in Disneyland and we went to see the Aladin show in CAlifornia Adventure! Seriously, if you haven't seen it,
Y O U    N E E D   T O   S T O P   W H A T   Y O U   A R E  D O I N G   A N D   G O   S E E   I T   N O W !  Okay so maybe not ths second, but make sure you make it to the show when you visit! Not only did we get to see it, but we were able to become VIP! We had this brilliant idea that while Allison & Jordan waited in line, we would run over to a store and get some Icecream for everyone! Good thinking right? Well turns out we weren't allowed to get in line unless our entire party was there. So the were left waiting on the outside while they watched many a person pass them in line. Finally, we return with our icecream and they tell us that we can't get in with our icecream! Obviously we were so beyond bummed about this! Lucky for us, the worker told us if we could finish our icecream in 10 minutes, we would recieve VIP seating! How amazing is that!? Basically the next 10 minutes was spent stuffin gour faces full of so much sugar we almost made ourselves sick...  B U T   W E   D I D   I T !

This is us downing all of our ice cream! I can't believe we did it!

Haha all these suckers had to wait until we picked our seats before they could get in! I realize now that the picture doesn't really show the joy on my face but try to imagine a crazy low laughter coming from my face...

This is Princess Aurora.

Funny story... So it was getting darker and colder at Disneyland our last day. I didn't want to be freezing so I tried to put my leggings on under my shorts while standing in line... I thought it was a brilliant idea... Apparently not because I was stuck like this for a good half hour...

Michael jumped each of these thingys... There were  A  L O T !

And this is in case you wanted a close up of that top picture... Prepare for the nightmares!
Thanks to my cousin Emily for putting this one together!

Almost every night we were there, we spent our time in the hottub attempting to relax our muscles for the next day of fun. A Tip: Book a hotel with a hottub. It really does help!

05/08/2014
We flew out of the LAX airport and back to Provo. It was so sad to leave behind the beautiful sunshine for the rain, but it feels good to be home and back in our own routines! We actually got to see Air Force One take off! It actually delayed us, but not everyone can say they've seen President Obama take off!
After all that fun, Michael headed out to Idaho Saturday morning to Drill with the Marine Corps until Thursday. If you need me, I'll be stuffing my face, reading, and watching way to many movies he can't stand.
