Ezra's 1st Birthday!

Meeska! Mooska! Mickey Mouse!
Our sweet Ezra has the cutest obsession with Mickey Mouse & we aren't mad about it!
(Mmk... So we may or may not have brainwashed him... I dunno...)
So, we felt we should celebrate 365 beautiful days with our sweet Ezra with a Mickey Mouse theme.

Things I never want to forget:
  • Getting my brows waxed the morning of Ezra's party and having everyone ask if I had an allergic reaction to something.
  • Ezra stuffing his face with cake.
  • Amy & Courtney driving all the way down.
  • Seeing the way Ezra lights up when he sees Pop Pop.
  • Ezra having an allergic reaction to the frosting and getting a rash on his tummy/face.

We are so happy Grandma Dudley was able to make it to the party!
She knit Ezra an adorable hat!

Ezra absolutely loves his Daddy. They are best friends!

We bought the balloons to add some color to the table & Michelle brought this cute Birthday sign! She really helped tie the theme together with all her decor.

I am so happy Courtney & Amy drove down. You know how in life you meet those friends who are there for you no matter what? Well, these girls are them. They'd do anything for me, or my family & we'd do the same for them. I feel so blessed to have been introduced to them! We were sad Sarah couldn't make it down, but she is included in this catagory.

Target had a deal where if you buy one cake, you get a free smash cake! We jumped on it because I was too tired to try and figure out how to make a cake all cutsie. The larger cake was identical to this one and turned everyone's mouths black.

This kid DEMOLISHED his smash cake. At first, he was pretty timid & no one wants to watch a timid baby, so I grabbed his hand and smashed it in for him to start the process. That was all he needed. A few minutes later, this was our little boy!

All of Ezra's cousins were pretty intrigued with this cake smashing! They all wanted to get in on the action!

The cousins had a fun time dodging Ezra when he reached out for them. Benjamin wasn't quite fast enough and got a little frosting on his face!

It was an extremely hot day today, so Pop Pop grabbed a fan and a spray bottle and was spraying it into the fan to make a swamp cooler affect. He's so thoughtful.

All in all, it was an amazing day. It's so hard to believe Ezra has hit 1 year old, but we have loved every moment with him. I can't believe how much love we have in our hearts for our squishy baby!
He's our favorite tiny human!
